There is no avoiding stress in our lives. It's just a part of a human...being. Stress can be both positive and negative. Stress affects all of us-kids and adults alike-on all levels: physiological, emotional, psychological and spiritual. How we respond to stress depends on how we perceive and adapt to stressful events. Stress can enable us to reach great heights, or it can drag us down and make us sick.
Fortunately, just as our bodies can respond to stress by launching into fight or flight mode we can also consciously reverse this stress response by using some simple techniques to stimulate the relaxation response. Stimulating the relaxation response allows our bodies, minds and spirits to rebuild and repair.
